Prominent markets across the Capital wore a deserted look on Friday as traders downed their shutters in protest against the sealing drive. Posh markets like Greater Kailash I and II, Meherchand Market, Defence Colony and Hauz Khas remained closed all through the day. For Delhi's most upscale shopping address, Khan Market, it was business as usual since all the shops and restaurants in the area were operational. Parking lots remained empty in GK I and II, and a similar scenario was witnessed in Meherchand and Defence Colony markets. Meanwhile, in Khan Market, shops and eateries remained open.
